Ibiza International Music Summit 2011 (IMS) went down the last weekend in May, and the world-known party island was once again the center of the electronic music scene. If you want to know how the global music business is developing, IMS is the place to be. BURN Studios was at the scene, and along they had brought what every music lover has been craving the last decade - the first online electronic music platform for the ”cloud generation”: Audiotool!
Promoters and DJ’s from the Nordic BURN Collective had teamed up for the long anticipated launch of Audiotool. From Denmark it was Copyflex, Julius Sylvest, Mads ElsČe and Kristian KjČller, from Norway Vinny Villbass and Grandma and from Sweden Magnus Wallberg from Dunka Dunka. Ambassador for the new music programme, legendary DJ Richie Hawtin, introduced Audiotool for an exited world press and expressed tremendous optimism for the future of electronic music.
But no business without parties! David Guetta and DJ sister-duo Nervo, together with a hypnotic light show, made people go crazy on top of the astonishing Dalt Vila in old Ibiza Town. Seth Troxler pumped up the opening party at club Pacha and New York based Hercules & The Love Affair blasted people away at the IMS Grand Finale Party together with DJ Pete Tong and 2manydjs. All in all – IMS 2011 left people wanting for more.Try Audiotool here
